This is a painting done in 2004 for a series on coleuses.  These annual plants surround my gardens and fill my flower pots all summer long.  There are so many varieties of these interesting annuals, the foliage is their claim to fame, the flowers are insignificant and should be cut back.  

This painting has been professionally matted and framed.  The mat is off white and the frame is mahogany.
