Welcome Hello and thank you for stopping to view my website. I hope you enjoy looking around, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions and check back regularly as we update the site. All of the paintings are my originals. The paintings are done on Arches 140# or 300# cold pressed paper unless otherwise noted. I primarily paint with Winsor & Newton transparent watercolors. Many of the paintings are available for purchase as is (matted only) and some are only for sale as framed. I'd be happy to ship them to you anywhere in the USA. Please see the individual painting for details. I would be honored to have my paintings find their way into your home and heart. Happenings Surprise! I know it has been a LONG time since I have posted. Well, it has been a busy year and is getting busier everyday. Last December my husband Darrell lost his job at Ford Motor Company. Thankfully he is now employed with Honeywell of Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, that means we are moving to Arizona!

Artist Profile I
was born on a snowy Christmas morning in 1963. I am the youngest of five and
we grew up in I never received any formal
education in the arts. Most
of my inspiration and “training” came to me from my home life. My mother, a self-taught
quilter and a gardener, is always in the process of creating
something. Color surrounds
the inside and outside of her home.
Her talents foster a creative side of me without her even
trying. I had always wanted to be
an artist, particularly a painter.
I would sometimes find this to be an odd aspiration, due to my
lack of training, but something in me told me there was ability and
drive to succeed. When my three children were still young, I took a
community education class in watercolor techniques. I was immediately enamored with
medium. I continue to seek
to grow in watercolor techniques and to strengthen my abilities
through workshops, classes and the constructive criticism of
colleagues. To me, being able to paint
is a life long dream come true. Through
my paintings I seek to recreate some of the splendor that God has
given us in creation. Maybe
it is because of the long I am so thankful to God for the ability to express myself through the fabulous world of watercolors. May He receive all the glory!
